Spiritual Wedding Ceremonies by Dennis Geller Ph.D. Humanist Minister
The best part of the wedding ceremony is the pronouncement, and for some people that's really enough — a nice set of vows taken from the Internet, a few words by the officient, a kiss, and it's done.

I'd like to help make your ceremony more than that. The words you say -- your vows -- and the words you hear from others can help you focus on the joys and strengths of your relationship, and make for a beautiful memory that will stay with you throughout your marriage.

Two people kissing on Mass Ave Bridge
Couple under a stone arch Whether you want your ceremony to include a family tradition fron the old country or to be totally up-to-date, we'll work together to make the ceremony uniquely yours — one that reflects your personalities, your relationship and your love for each other, and provides your families and close friends with warm, cherished memories.

Please browse the album to see notes from couples I've worked with. There are some nice photos, too.

If you'd like me to write or call, please fill out the form below. There's a FAQ about my services, and me, that you can download from here. GLBT couples might be interested in these answers to some of their specific questions. You might also care to visit a page that has more detail about how I think about marriage ceremonies.

About me

I am a Humanist Minister and am also ordained as a madrikh within Humanistic Judaism. (I also have a day job: I was in the technology sector for many years and now teach high school in a suburb of Boston.) I've helped more than a hundred couples have spiritual and meaningful wedding ceremonies; most of my clients come from Massachusetts, but I've also performed weddings in Maine, Connecticut, New Hampshire and New York, and have worked with couples who arranged to come over from Europe just for their wedding. If you're interested in learning more about me and my approach to weddings, there's lots more to read at link needed to old home page. But the best way to find out if I can give you the wedding you want is a free consultation, in person or by phone. Fill out the form, send an email to dpgeller at humanist-rites dot com, or call 617 529-9483 (weekends or evenings) and we can begin discussing your wedding.

Please take a moment to complete this form so that we can talk about your wedding.
