Swooping down with threats is bad enough...

...But it's worse when he's right.

Little if anything is below Xellos when he wants to get a rise out of someone. But he doesn't usually irritate without purpose, whether that purpose is stopping Zel from reacting calmly, explaining civilized behavior to Filia, escalating or defusing a conflict, or simply getting himself an afternoon snack.

He isn't, let's be clear, someone who gets on people's nerves all the time just for fun. He has fun doing it, but that's different. He's absolutely capable of sitting quietly and letting people get on with their business. Just watch the lake-dragon episode.
